Lethargy and worried are all that I feel these days. Or to be precise, ever since I stepped back into Singapore from the China trip. Honestly speaking, I am kinda missing the period at China. Really really missing it:/

3 more days to 2012, I guess many would have countless New Year’s resolutions. As of me, I have 2. To have everyone close to me stay with me throughout, no more parting no more any departure or leaving. (I want them all sound and pink in health) and lastly, that I can be as adaptive as the adaptive colouring of a chameleon.

Hmmm….

As contradicting as I am going to sound. I absolutely do not believe in having any New Year’s resolution, because people made a whole load of them at the start of the year and then not fulfilling or forgetting them as the year goes by and end.

To me such is an uncondemnable cycle and act. And I suppose such is an example of stereotype too? So no, strike that off. Shouldn’t commit any perceptual errors.

a lot of times i wonder if i have made the right decision in doing what i had to do, and if it was leading me towards the door which, at the end, might not even be the right one for me. i am so afraid. but i guess that is what the beauty of life is; the uncertainty of it all. how some things can have no explanation, how we never really know how much time we have left; how, in actual fact, perhaps we don't really know anything at all. there is no constant. things are always changing and dissolving and emerging. cliché as it is; change is the only constant. death is the only certainty. sometimes i feel like i am on a train with no destination. sure, i have maps and travel guides and many ideas on where i want to go, and where i want to be. but i don't know where this train is taking me and when i will reach my destination. the uncertainty terrifies me. but at the same time, i realise that this is what they mean when they tell you to seize the day. carpe diem. it is the same with people. it is scary to think that the people in your life now might not be there in a couple of years. walking out is that simple, because that's what people do. people leave. you don't know what is behind the doors of a person until you walk through them, and you don't know how long these doors will be open for. they could be open your whole life or they could decide to slam shut halfway. you don't know if they will be left ajar, so you can peep in from time to time, or perhaps it will just fade away, and you only noticed that it was gone when it was too late. i hope i walked into the right door when i found you.

Like what the title says "Thank God It's Friday" tomorrow.

I am in high spirit by the fact that the weekend has finally arrived!

I am really really bushed now, and feeling a little reflective on what have been like these few days. Especially for the past 2 days, the bus rides back and forth from home has gotten me into mulling over many things that has happened and is happening. And perhaps a teeny weeny bit of brooding as well?

Nevertheless I really appreciate these solitary moments and managed them pretty well. I remembered me as someone who is indubitably afraid of being alone, let alone silence. But then again, I also remembered me as one who likes and love them too, perhaps at least once in a while?

The weather has been pleasant, I wore my knitted pull-over to school which pretty much kept me warm throughout the whole time.

Did I mention a hundredth times of how I have a thing for rainy days alr? Because I honestly remembered me saying that all the time during my secondary school days entries.

I have been reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, by Lisa See, it’s really really re……………ally an awesome book. Honestly I kinda like and admire her writing style. And it’s actually the second book I have read by her alr, the first one was the Shanghai Girls if I am not wrong? And it was good too, just can’t put my eyes off the two. And now I am trying to slow down the process so that I won’t finish the book too fast L

Why? Because it's when the last ray of sunlight clear the horizon! But! Not quite or exactly dark yet. How cool........... and quiet can that be?? I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The cashier said, “I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.” Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ”Granny, are you sure I don’t have enough money?” The old lady replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.” Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. “It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.” I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her afterall, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. “No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.” His eyes were so sad while saying this. “My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.” My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: “I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.” Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me “I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won’t forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.” Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. He heard me!” “I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.” “My mommy loves white roses.” A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. I think i sound stupid to actually retain this thought.

But even though i am having my vacation right now (which is 10/11days left starting from today) i still don't feel like i am having one or even enjoying it, yet.

And honestly i doubt i will be able to :(

Perhaps it's due to the fact that it has just begun.

Or it's my mentality that is ruining it. Because right now, i am still left with 2 understanding test to go. Which is communication, and programming. I mean there is not much of a problem handling the 2 in whole, but programming seems to be giving me a little problem from the previous last lesson. Anyhow, i am going to handle it and i was thinking to myself maybe, maybe this is why i actually feel like this vacation isn't really much like a vacation. Because i got to mug again.

Plus, as you can see now, it's only 11plus pm going 12am. But the thing is, i actually feel drained and sleepy alr. And for a moment, i thought it was 1 or 2am alr which apparently appears to be not.

Bet it's my body clock, and i totally like the habit of sleeping early haha.

And i think i should really savor it now that school is out, because i know i wouldn't/won't be able to once it's over, until a long period.

So... I just came back from the wedding banquet/dinner my relative just threw. My so called cousin just got married. She's so blissful and happy, and so loved and adored by her husband. Envy.

Hmmm... Anyway I am so stuffed from all the eatings. There were actually a lot more pictures taken, but i am too pooped now to actually upload all. So yeap that's all for today.

I am currently at Grandma's. It's Mother's Day today, so yess that explain why i am here.

But it's not the celebration yet.

So, yesterday was the Polling Day. The Opposition Party, Workers Party, won Aljunied and Hougang. And 4 other district i think?

Very sadly, Poly students don't get the same treatment as Primary or Secondary school students are having, or rather will be having tomorrow :(

Wished they were the same, so i can have one more day off from the hectic school work. Anyway, enough of complaining gtgh now! Momma is calling me

I really feel that 24 hours is really really not enough, for me:( Mhmmm.... I got to whine about this... badly. Otherwise i'd be going bonkers soon, REAL SOON :(

AND. Yeah, it's true that I feel accomplished and fruitful/eventful at the end of the day, but I can't deny that i carry fatigue with me as well :(( I sleep like a dead log every night i swear lol.

Everything is going fine so far, my effort and effort did paid off. And honestly, i am already satisfied with the grades. Because i really thought that i screwed up those and i had self-reproached for a long time. I even wished myself could disappear at that point of time. As of the social part, i'm not really getting there.... yet. I am still having a hard time. Call me social awkward... Or really maybe it's just me, not even wanting to let anyone in. Anymore. Uncomfortable, and... hesitant.

I really really hope and need lady luck with me, to last me through until completion of these modules. And of course, i promise to keep up with the consistency, determination/enthusiasm, for school work that is.

All these overdues pretty much sums up my life for the past few days. School work kept me preoccupied and really exhausted at the end of every day. I have to wake up like 0530am in the morning, and skipped meals/breaks to stay back in class ever since day 1 to clarify questions which i have doubts with and to finish what has been assigned for me that day. I am really doing my best to digest everything that i have learnt.

Such life is hectic and hectic, really...

And i am trying to adapt myself to it, to fit in.

I still can't sleep, even though i determinedly decided to accustom myself to the routine i set earlier on. Because of school, because of good habit.

And honestly, i wanna surrender. Because i've been lying on my bed since perhaps 10pm?

My thoughts always go wild itself, the minute i shut my eyes.

And imaginations, recollections takes place.

Creases and furrows between my brows every time hah that i often wish i could iron them flat and silky.

And i am pretty sure. It must be because i am feeling nervous, scared, and ecstatic for school next week which is like 4days more/left.

Mixed feeling it is, i don't even really know how i really feel.

Or maybe this is just me, i do a lot of thinkings before i sleep.

I have been squandering my time off reading and watching multiple drama series/variety shows like Gossipgirl, Pretty Little Liars and wgm. And for your information, i have yet to shower too lazy.

Anyway, planned to go to the library but abolished it due to the apathy that is currently crawling in me because of the weather.

It's crazy the weather i'd say these days. So hot and sunny in the day and then lightnings showers afterwards. As capricious as always. Hate it.

And that makes my picnic and flying kites a gone case anymore.

Which have been under my to do list before school start:/

I don't know what happened, i can't log in to my livejournal! Both the day before yesterday and today. So ughh

O.K

Anyway here is the case.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with me.

I honestly think my body is screwed up if not my health.

I have no idea how the hell my weight shows that i shed 3/4kg. Right. When i didn't even attempt to. Am now a 45/46kilo human hello to that.

AND. By right, I mean I should be high spirited. And, I want to be.

Ok, maybe i do... A teeny weeny bit? But i can't help it when obviously the intensity of fear creeping in seems more alarming.

I mean this is my body, i still see and feel myself an ass fat as ever, really... I know it all, the jiggly sensation accompanied by each movement.

I double checked, triple checked and so on with the other weighing scales i could find and with the other people. But i still can't prove that it might possible be an illusion made or a mirage... A perfect misconception that is going to bring relief back to me, and ironically don't... too. But i am still willing to take the chance.

Now. The more i think of it the more I feel freaked out. To the extent that i actually changed my eating habits, by consuming more greens and fruits now, which i don't usually.

I admit I am being really paranoid but i can't deny the fact that it worries me when i keep thinking to myself that maybe, maybe i contracted some terminal disease.

Me, definitely don't want that.

Perhaps, then again i'd say i might be too affected by the people around me who has fallen sick so abruptly and may i say gravely.

It's so chilly tonight, it've been raining throughout the day.

And i like that.

I have been munching on my sushi, alongside with my hot milo cereal while watching shows online. Splendid life i am having. And i am going to try to have my ear plugged with earphones later tonight. Songs and music are gonna chase the bad dreams away. I think...? Helpful or not, i don't know.

OK, so i have spent the whole late afternoon/evening doing sushi. I know, the sushi are in various size, i don't have those very sharp knives at home :( but well, they will look all the same in the aftermath... After they transformed into feces.

Mmhmm... It's pouring outside now. Lovely weather to snuggle in bed with a book, catnap, or catch up with all the movies and dramas i have neglected.

I am having a tummy ache currently. Not the doings of sushi definitely, because it started way before i did and ate them.

SO, Cookies tomorrow...? And spaghetti? My siblings prefer cheese and cream ones than the tomato flavor :( Which i totally have no confident and idea i can do it well :((

We'll see how it goes.

OK... ... i am really bored now, as you can tell.

Many things are going through my head, mainly things like school's starting, and i should really get a job, again, and yeah that's all i suppose...?

To be honest, i've been dreading bedtime for the past few days/nights even though i get really weary and sleepy. I still try my best to abstain sleep.

That was because, I've been having nightmares, ok not say nightmares just those very creepy bad dreams lately. It made me queasy. And i am not going to precise it any longer.

So, i will be baking cookies either tomorrow or the day after.

And sushi as well, yes no? Speaking of cooking and baking, which i have to confess I am still a greenhorn. Pathetic :'( I only know how to do maggi mee best.
